Someone's got issues
What if you emailed someone to see if they were blown to pieces while London was being bombed, and they didn't send you an email back. Are they a complete JERK?!
(I suppose if they did get killed then they're off the hook, but I sincerely doubt that happened.)

Depends whether the e-mail got lost, or that person received loads and loads of emails and is working through 'em all, maybe. Or maybe they're just jerks after all.
